About Me

Hi there! My name is Vegas Cruz! I’m currently an AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Player.

My journey began right after High School when I decided volleyball and programming were my passions.

My volleyball career began with just small local tournaments and playing at bar leagues. I didn’t get into doubles until I was 20. I played a Coed Doubles tournament at the “Wuapaca Boatride” – The Nation’s Largest outdoor volleyball event. I realized that I had a kick for it and I was good at it… I began traveling a little more to places like Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Milwaukee, Ft. Lauderdale, etc… I put in the time and work, and I started winning some tournaments!

I realized I was ready to try my hand at the AVP, so my partner and I entered into an “AVPNext” tournament and finished 1st! This gave us an automatic entry into an AVP tournament, then we got a few rounds into the playoffs and started to create chaos. We then found some sponsors, gained AVP status and now here I am!
